Many of our clients choose Reverence Hotels for our adults-only specialization, seeking a few days of peace and relaxation at our Reverence Mare hotel and Reverence Life hotel. They often combine their stay with various activities or visits to different parts of the island to make the most of their time in Mallorca. Therefore, we like to offer advice and recommend different options based on their interests, some more well-known and others less so.
One of Mallorca's great attractions is that it offers a multitude of options in itself. It could be said that it's an island for all tastes and plans, depending on the time of year and each person's objectives. When it comes to summer, here are some options that the Reverence Hotels team particularly likes:
Puerto de Andratx It's just a few kilometers from our hotels, a little over 20 minutes by car, and it's definitely worth a visit. It's one of the most beautiful natural harbors in Mallorca, along with Sóller, and a stroll there is especially pleasant at sunset. A good option is to go to see the arrival of the traditional barcas del bou, visit La Lonja de pescado, and then enjoy the sunset at one of the seaside terraces.
Art galleries Palma is one of the Spanish cities with the most art galleries, many of which are concentrated in the city center. It's a great plan to stroll through the beautiful streets of the historic center and explore the galleries, which usually showcase works by internationally recognized artists as well as local creators. In the same area, there are plenty of options to end the tour with a good lunch or dinner…
Scenic drive The road that runs through the Serra de Tramuntana is a true marvel, with views of the Mediterranean and truly unparalleled landscapes. Our recommendation is to head from either Reverence Mare hotel or Reverence Life hotel towards Andratx and then head towards Estellencs, Banyalbufar, Valldemossa, Deià… All are idyllic towns that deserve a visit one by one… And there are stops along the way that are real postcards…
Winery visit Yes, you might not have known, but Mallorca has a good number of wineries and produces high-quality wines. This has grown in recent years, strengthening the island's position as a destination for wine tourism. Currently, there are more than 70 wineries on the island, over 500 wine brands, and two unique designations of origin (DO): Binissalem and Pla i LLevant. If you enjoy wine, it's an excellent option to include a stop at one of the wineries from these DOs, where you can taste their best wines and visit their facilities to learn about the production process of Mallorca's finest wines.
After these experiences, which we are sure will fascinate you, both the staff at Reverence Mare hotel, Reverence Life hotel, and the Casa Vida Apartments will be waiting to end the day with a swim in our pools, a relaxing dinner, and a cocktail on any of our terraces overlooking the sea, enjoying a wonderful sunset.
Don’t miss the chance to explore these hidden gems during your visit to Mallorca!
