Reverence Hotels, sponsor of artist Alexa Grande's exhibition at Kaplan Projects
June 15 2023

Reverence Hotels is sponsoring the solo exhibition of the artist Alexa Grande at Kaplan Projects, entitled Isoropía. The show is set to open next Friday, 16 June, at 7.30 p.m. at the gallery.
The epicenter of Alexa Grande's new project is the reflection on the oscillations and balances of life experience. Her new solo exhibition is called Isoropia (ισορροπία), a Greek term meaning balance. Through a series of oil paintings and a sound installation, Alexa Grande contemplates her recent experiences, reflecting on the oscillations that can occur along the way. During the process, the artist wonder if it is possible to reach the balance, often as desired, during the constant fortuitous changes, those that frequently shake our pathos.
Ana Nadal, CEO of Reverence Hotels, states, "As a company, we are also keen to participate in cultural projects such as this one presented by Kaplan Projects, because we strongly believe that promoting art in our society is of benefit to all of us, as it offers a space for reflection."
Alexa Grande (Madrid, 1986) graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts of the Complutense University of Madrid. During the last years of her degree, she obtained a scholarship to finish her studies in Germany, at the HfbK in Hamburg with Professor Norbert Schwontkowski and Professor Anselm Reyle. She subsequently received a Leonardo Da Vinci scholarship in the same German city where she has worked for more than ten years. Alexa Grande's professional career includes scholarships, awards and international artist residencies. She has exhibited at contemporary art festivals, museums, and galleries in Spain, Germany, Venezuela, Finland, the Netherlands, Cuba, and Mexico.
