In the framework of its collaboration with 6Points Cycling Challenges , Reverence Hotels supports the social work carried out by the Shambhala Foundation in Mallorca since 2013. For this purpose, the CEO of Reverence Hotels, Ana Nadal, and the promoter of 6Points Cycling Challenges, Bryan Visser, met with the director of the Foundation, Víctor Mora, to express their support and formalize an economic contribution that will allow the entity to continue advancing in its goals.

Specifically, Víctor Mora explains, “thanks to the collaboration of Reverence Hotels, we will be able to cover three university enrollments (one in Computer Engineering and two in the History degree), one Vocational Training (FP GS) in Navigation, Fishing and Transport, one FP GM in Social Integration, and an intensive English course (adapted to the work environment) for two users.”

Ana Nadal states that “at Reverence Hotels, we not only aim to provide the best service to all those who stay in our hotels, but we also have the purpose of contributing to making a fairer and better society. We firmly believe that small actions can bring about great changes, which is why we began our collaboration in 2020 with 6Points Cycling Challenges, and through them, we support the work of entities such as the Shambhala Foundation, with which we also collaborated in 2023.”

The Shambhala Foundation works to help young people aged 18-25, both men and women, at risk of social exclusion and without resources to continue studying. The foundation supports them with educational guidance and paying for the course they wish to undertake, in addition to providing job counseling, sports, workshops, and volunteering activities. Furthermore, it supports them with basic needs and documentation. Mora emphasizes that “education is very important, and everyone should have the right to study and receive support to achieve a dignified social integration.” Our mission, he adds, “focuses on providing opportunities for education, sports, guidance, and community services to facilitate their social and labor integration, which we achieve through the implementation of four integrated programs covering these areas.”

For its part, 6Points Cycling Challenges was born in 2016 as an individual and charitable cycling route through Mallorca, promoted by Bryan Visser. The idea was to cycle around Mallorca in a fun but challenging way, allowing cyclists to enjoy the views, countryside, mountains, sea, and culture. The goal was to complete it in three days, staying in hotels along the route. The inaugural event took place in May 2017 with 6 cyclists who completed the entire route and raised €6,400 for six charities in Mallorca. Since then, it has organized 15 multi-day 6-point cycling challenges and has already raised more than €260,000 for charities on the island.
