San Xoán Festivities: Saint John’s Eve is very popular in Galicia, and in Palas de Rei it is celebrated with bonfires, traditional music and typical food. The night is marked by rituals such as jumping over bonfires and processions in honour of the saint. It takes place at the end of June.
