Plans to enjoy Mallorca in spring

May 19 2023
At Reverence Hotels, we know that spring is a very special time of year to visit Mallorca, for many different reasons.

The first reason is that the temperature during this time of year is very pleasant, a bit milder than what is usual in summer. This allows, for example, to enjoy outdoor sports activities such as hiking, running, tennis, golf...

On the other hand, in this magnificent island in spring, thanks to its ideal climate, you can already start enjoying its paradisiacal beaches, in addition to having much fewer people than during the high season of summer. And due to the low number of people around this time, the experience becomes very special. Even the most popular beaches are almost like a private beach!

Vacations in Mallorca during this wonderful season are also ideal for a road trip visiting some of the most beautiful towns on the island such as Calviá, Es Capdellà, Andratx, Estellencs, Banyalbufar, Deià, Valldemossa... Some of these beautiful towns are very close to our Reverence Mare and Reverence Life hotels! There is a coastal route that is an absolute delight, with several viewpoints to enjoy unforgettable panoramic views. There is usually little traffic at this time, which makes the plan even more appealing.

When visiting the Serra de la Tramuntana, stops in Valldemossa are a must. It is one of the most beautiful towns in Spain, where you can visit the Charterhouse of Chopin and we recommend trying at least a "coca de patata" (potato cake). The visit to Deià is also very special, a town of artists and writers, where Richard Graves is buried.

This route can also be enjoyed by indulging in Mallorcan cuisine, which is truly wonderful. Enjoying a good "pa amb oli" (Mallorcan bread with local tomatoes, cheeses, and cured meats) is a highly recommended experience and a way to get to know the local culture of Mallorca better.

At Reverence Hotels, we will be delighted to assist you with your routes and visits to any part of this beautiful island!
