At Reverence Hotels, we understand our commitment to Calviá and Mallorca as a responsibility that goes beyond our hotel activity. Being part of our local community also means contributing to initiatives that work to improve people’s lives and create new opportunities within our society.
With this purpose in mind, Reverence Hotels collaborates with the Shambhala Foundation, a Mallorca-based organisation that supports young people in vulnerable situations or at risk of social exclusion, helping them move towards a future with greater personal, educational and professional opportunities.
The Foundation has developed a comprehensive support model based on education, sport, guidance and community service. Education and training are among its main areas of activity, enabling young people facing personal or financial difficulties to continue their studies and acquire the tools they need to become more independent and prepare for their future entry into the workforce.
Reverence Hotels’ contribution helps support these programmes and facilitates access to university studies, vocational training, language courses and other educational and employment resources. This support translates into something very tangible: more opportunities to continue learning, develop skills and build a future.
A collaboration that brings efforts together
This contribution is made as part of Reverence Hotels’ collaboration with 6Points Cycling Challenges, a charitable initiative founded in Mallorca that combines sport and social commitment to raise funds for different organisations across the island.
6Points began in 2016 as an individual charity cycling route around Mallorca and has since organised 16 multi-day cycling challenges and raised more than €400,000 for charitable organisations on the island.
The collaboration with 6Points enables Reverence Hotels to join forces and contribute to projects such as that of the Shambhala Foundation, whose work has a direct impact on the present and, above all, the future of many young people.
At Reverence Hotels, we would like to recognise the work of the Shambhala Foundation and everyone who makes its project possible. Because helping a young person continue studying, learning and progressing towards an independent life is also a way of building a fairer society and contributing to the future of Mallorca.
