REVERENCE HOTELS SUPPORTS THE SOCIAL WORK OF YACHTING GIVES BACK

November 01 2021
Reverence Hotels is collaborating with Yachting Gives Back, a charity started by Nick Entwisle through which the yachting community, both yachting and service companies, is helping to alleviate poverty and hunger in Mallorca.

This collaboration is part of Reverence Hotels ' sponsorship of the 6Points Cycling Challenges cycling event, which was founded by Bryan Visser and has raised more than €100,000 for different charities on the island since 2017.

Ana Nadal, CEO of Reverence Hotels, states, “By sponsoring the 6Points Cycling Challenges we are doing our bit to help institutions that are doing great social work. As part of the 2021 event, we have made an economic contribution and collaborated with the Calviá Association of People with Disabilities (ASDICA) in other aspects. And now we are also supporting Yachting Gives Back, which is doing great work.”

Yachting Gives Back is an association founded by Nick Entwisle in 2019, after a long and brilliant career in the world of yachting in Mallorca. “It is an initiative that allows us to engage the whole yachting community in social work that is much needed. There are many resources that were not being used and now we can channel them to a good number of charities that really need help.” All Yachting Gives Back’s donations go to Mallorca Sense Fam, Associació Tardor, Fundación Shambala, JoyRon Foundation, SOS Mamás, Can Gazà, Es Refugi and Cáritas.

Nick Entwisle explains, “We collect food and materials from the yachting community at STP, where the shipyard kindly provided us with a central point of collections in the form of a container. The container is our headquarters, where we sort the donations before distribution.”
